NAI was initiated in 2013 as a formal partnership between Washington University in St. Louis and National University of Singapore, which are highlighted below. Inevitably, projects have been extended to include other leading universities.
Today NAI is viewed as a global partnership among many leading universities in the world. The focus has gradually become more practical—on partnerships for work being done.
